by observing humanity at its most critical time : when the judgments characters must make radically alter their lives and the lives of those whom they love , or those for whom they are responsible . In many instances these judgments result in death . Additional historical , philosophical , scientific or sociological background material will be presented to contextualize and clarify various aspects of the plays . It may be taken for English credit . It may be used to fulfill a General Education requirement or an Honors Program requirement under " Music " ( sometimes called " Arts "). |

In this course students learn the language of medicine with emphasis on the application of medical terminology in the medical record . The types of terms that will be taught include ; the components of medical words , terms specific to all body systems , common disease processes , and common drug names and their prescribed uses . The content of the acute care record and the documentation needs of the related health care practitioners will be an integral topic of this class . |
