Students will work in teams to design , develop and implement a solution to a real-world IT problem , or work independently on a comprehensive research project . After creating a portfolio of work from their courses over their entire career in the CIS program , students will present their project work at the end of the semester . This course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to research a selected topic or topics in order to integrate and deepen the student ' s comprehension and application of Artificial Neural Networks ( ANNs ) and Deep Machine Learning .
