Academic Standards / Grade Requirements : Grades of “ C ” or higher are required in each mathematics course . A student may achieve less than a “ C ” grade in only two courses and may repeat these courses only once . If a student , regardless of cumulative grade point average , achieves less than a “ C ” grade on the third course , or fails to bring all grades up to a “ C ” with one repeat , the student may be dismissed from the minor .
Academic Progress , Probation , and Program Dismissal : Students must earn a grade of “ C ” or better in MTH 245 , MTH 246 and 12 credits of electives selected from : MTH 231 , MTH 234 , MTH 235 , MTH 261 , MTH 301 , MTH 302 , MTH 303 , MTH 304 , MTH 305 , MTH 401 , MTH 407 or MTH 437 for a total of 20
credits . Students with ≤ 2.0 GPA , may be dismissed from the program . Technology Requirements : A laptop only if enrolled in MTH 261 , Programming for Math .

MICROBIOLOGY
Program Description : A student who is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree may earn a minor in chemistry by completing 19 credits in microbiology .
Program Admissions Requirements and Procedures : Any student who is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree may apply to earn a minor in microbiology . Students should speak with the coordinator of the Biology Program prior to completing the appropriate minor addition form .
Internal / External Transfers : A maximum of six credits may be transferred from another institution . All prerequisites for the chosen courses must be satisfied . To receive credit for courses taken elsewhere , submission of a transcript must be submitted , and the program may request a course syllabus to appropriately evaluate course equivalency .
