Various forms of contrast media and its delivery are reviewed in this course . The procedures involving the digestive , urinary and biliary systems are studied in detail . This course is designed so that the student may continue critical analysis of image quality based upon theories learned and practiced under direct supervision . Continuation of clinical education rotations gives the student the opportunity to gain skill in the procedures learned in the classroom and laboratory setting . At this point in time , the student should be confident in performing all basic radiographic procedures . Competency exams are still on progress . The student should be able to work under indirect supervision per JRCERT and program guidelines . Opportunitites to roate through advacned modality areas are often offered . Continuation of clinical education rotations gives the student the opportunity to ensure that a broad knowledge and comfort level in performing all radiographic procedures under indirect supervision has been attained before graduation . The terminal competencies are completed at the conclusion of the semester if required .
This course is designed to provide basic concepts of pharmacology . The theory and practice of basic techniques of venipuncture and administration of contrast agents and / or intravenous medications is included . The appropriate delivery of patient care during these procedures is emphasized . Pseudo course used to provide students with credit for a Radiologic Technology License .
Various religious themes are examined , such as covenant , messianism , eschatology , redemption and prayer . Students are encouraged to appreciate the various writing genres of Old Testament literature , such as its creation stories , prophetic literature , apocalyptic and wisdom motifs expressed in Hebrew poetry .
