This course provides psychology majors with an opportunity to reflect on their learning across the discipline and to integrate and apply research and theory in psychology to select topics .
This course is designed to afford senior psychology majors a practical experience in the application of psychological theory and research . With the recommendation of the psychology faculty and the approval of the program coordinator , students may work in a 40-hour-percredit practicum opportunity . The practicum setting must provide a learning opportunity consistent with the learning outcomes of the program . Students must consult and meet with the program coordinator during the semester prior to the semester when the practicum will be completed to have the practicum site approved .
