Program Description : The BS in Sports Management program prepares students to enter the fast-paced industry of sports while including a study of foundational business knowledge such as business law , business ethics , accounting , management , marketing , and finance . Core courses cover topics in sports marketing , finance , law , athletics administration , and facility management . The program culminates with a course in which students gain experience running a business through a computer simulation . This program offers a 4 + 1 MBA option . Students should meet with their advisor in their junior year to apply to the 4 + 1 program .
