As I got nearer Sam, I saw a swamp-green turtle that was in front of him, moving to right and then turning left, in the warm light-blue water. In one moment, the turtle and Sam stayed face to face. I felt excited and I think Sam was feeling nervous. I snapped that moment with my shiny blue camera. After that, I made signs to Sam saying if we could go up because water was freezing.
A week before going snorkeling, Sam and I had been reading the newspaper. In the page 16, we had seen an interesting add about turtles. The add said “Next week, the turtles from the North are going to come to the aquarium! We offer you a day snorkeling with these fantastic turtles. Don´t miss the opportunity!” When we read that, we immediately prepared things to go.
“This is going to be awesome” said Sam with enthusiasm.
When we were about to approach the surface, a lot of turtles of different types of green started coming up, swimming slowly. The turtles looked huge and their very little heads seemed to be a nut. I continued taking pictures because I wanted to reveal them later. When turtles were near us, I touched their hard and round shell. It had like shapes on it. While I was doing that, Sam was with other turtles swimming with them.
Some minutes later, we went out of the sea. We dry and put on warm and comfortable clothes. There was a restaurant near the beach where we were so both of us decided to go. The restaurant seemed to be good because it had a garden full of flowers in the entrance. Definitely, this was one of the greatest days of my summer.
