Introduction
Well, we are now ready to present issue 5.1 of Under Construction and what an amazing issue
it is. The team have worked extremely hard (which is no small feat alongside the journey of a
doctorate) to deliver all the stages involved, and I’d like to give my huge thank you to all of
them. We’ve aimed to raise the profile of Under Construction so that the opportunity to be
part of a publishing team is better understood by the postgraduates at Keele. Make sure you
take a look at the UC Facebook page to see interviews with members of the team, to get a
better idea of how they feel it has benefited them and what the experience has been like. I
hope we’ll see more of these interviews in the future, so that the experience of the UC team
is available for all to see. Good luck to the next team, the contributors and particularly to
Martin Goodhead who has been a committed member for two issues so far and will now take
the role of Editor-in-Chief.
