44 Notes on Contributors NICHOLAS SHELDON is undertaking a PhD at Keele in the Philosophy of Religion. His research focuses on the analysis of philosophical idealism where it occurs within a religious doctrine. Nicholas has a broad background in lecturing and writing covering computer science, maths, physical sciences psychology, sociology, and now religious studies and philosophy. STEPHEN SEABRIDGE is a PhD student studying Creative Writing at Keele University. His research focuses on Geopoetic responses to space including Psychogeography, Geocriticism, Ecocriticism and Creative Writing. For the creative aspect of his thesis Stephen is working on a large collection of poetry based on his experiences of growing up in Staffordshire. Stephen's creative work also focuses on growing up in a working-class family of miners, potters and railway workers, and of the significant cultural and structural change in his home town over the past decades. In June 2018 Stephen is to be announced as the city of Stoke-on-Trent's first Poet Laureate. LUVUYO ZANTSI is pursuing a PhD in Public Policy within the School of Politics, Philosophy, International Relations and Environment at Keele. His background working in the government of South Africa includes development planning, strategy development, and organisational transformation. He also has experience in regional economic development after training with the German government for a year. ELIZABETH TRAFFORD completed an MPhil at Keele 2016. In the autumn of 2018 Elizabeth will be commencing a PhD in American Literature which will examine the ‘word virus’ concept in William S. Burrough’s ‘Cut-Up’ trilogy.
