Under Construction @ Keele 2016 Volume 2 Issue 1 | Page 8
vi
efforts have made producing this second issue of the journal all the more enjoyable;
we only hope that you enjoy reading it just as much.
We hope to continue to build on the success of this project and establish the
journal as an integral aspect of the postgraduate culture in the Humanities and
Social Sciences at Keele. This lively research environment already boasts a number
of outlets for the dissemination of research, such as the Humanities Work in
Progress Seminars and the Postgraduate Research Forum. The journal compliments
these, giving PhD and Masters students the opportunity to present their work in a
more formal manner, providing valuable and essential publishing experience. With
this in mind, this issue also features the Call for Papers for our next publication, due
Summer 2016. We hope you will take advantage of this fantastic opportunity, and
help us to continue to build upon our success so far in the coming years.
