Marie Bollozos Being born and raised just outside of the Greater Toronto Area, in Mississauga, Marie has always had a passion for design and had decided to develop her creativity through the Fashion Design program at Fanshawe College. By moving away from familiarity, she has gained independence and unique experiences that she would not have learned, if she had stayed back at home. After graduating this upcoming spring, Marie hopes to find job opportunities and entrepreneurship that will help further her fashion design skills in computer/hand Illustrations and design research. Stone-Age Dreams is inspired by the imagery that is presented on the main fabric, which has an earthy, yet stoney vibe. The natural design of the stoney print demonstrates an illusion of how nature is exposed through the eye and that life can be tough just like stones. The silhouettes of each garment provide a free-flowing awareness, just like air. This leads to the impression that, “life can be hard but easy at the same time.” The purpose of this collection is to help the customer express their emotions about life and comfortability; to wear each garment in a more simplistic way. 12 2019
