Flex Spherical enhances our ability to address high-speed
impacts, low-speed impacts, as well as rotational impacts.
Think of it as “comprehensive protection,” with the added
bonus of being able to design better helmet ventilation.
PROGRESSIVE LAYERING
Flex Spherical utilizes two layers of foam: a hard EPS layer
against the outer shell closer to the point of potential impact,
and a less dense EPP layer closer to the head. Each layer has a
thin hard shell molded into it.
BALL-AND-SOCKET ACTION
In the case of impact, the outer shell rides on the inner shell
like a ball and socket located in place by MIPS elastomers,
and can move several millimeters in any direction.
