Anansi and the Turtle

In the beginning of the story, Anansi, the spider, was cooking a big dinner, but she didn’ t have any yams, tomatoes, or pickles, so she asked her friend, the turtle, for help.
The turtle had been to the store twice. The first time, the turtle got yams, tomatoes, and pickles, and the second time, the turtle got milk and carrots. But then Anansi asked the turtle to go and get some bread.
Finally, the turtle came to Anansi’ s house again with the bread and realized that Anansi was tricking him. The turtle said to Anansi that it was dark, and then he got some candles and said to Anansi,“ You hold them while I light them.”
After that, Anansi’ s hands were full and she couldn’ t eat, but the turtle could. So, the turtle sat at the table and ate the big dinner.
My Dream Job

My name is Juan Martin Forero. My dream job is to be a doctor, specifically a neurosurgeon. I like this career because my dad is a great doctor, and he inspires me to work in the medical field. I also want to be a doctor because I like helping people, and being able to save lives would be a dream for me.
Based on what I said before, in this job, people help others in healthcare. Previously, I said that I wanted to be a neurosurgeon, and that is still true, but it requires money and time. So now, I am focusing on becoming a doctor like my dad and studying all the subjects I have at school, but especially science, to achieve my dream.
And if I become a great doctor and I have enough money and time, I will take the next step and become a neurosurgeon.
My Apartment

Hi, my name is Celeste. I live in an apartment. It is not very big, but it is tidy and cozy. In my apartment, there are three bedrooms, a living room, and two bathrooms. In the living room, there is a beige sofa and a big TV.
My favorite room is my bedroom because it is very tidy, comfortable, and relaxing. In the bedroom, there is a big bed between the closet and the desk. On the desk, there is my computer, and next to the computer, there is a lamp. On the wall, there are two beautiful pictures and a window.
I really love my apartment. It is small but cozy, and it makes me feel happy.
My Dream Job

I do not want my dream job to be boring or easy. I do not want an office job or a job where I just need to sit. I want my sport to be my dream job. I want to be a professional BMX rider, both in freestyle and racing.
I like this job because I enjoy doing this sport and I love the community around it. People in this sport go to competitions and try to win to become famous and get sponsors from well-known brands.
I am training every day to become better and achieve my dream job.
