Step out! Try something new! In Leslie‘s own words she “sleeps
and breathes hair! “. It’s her passion, her love. It began at an
early age. She just knew this was going to be her career
path.
Leslie grew up in Montana. In 2017 she and her husband Jim
relocated here to Phoenix from Colorado along with their
two dogs Frosty and Domino. When she’s not at the salon
you may find her in the walking pool or at the gym. Leslie is a
member of several area networking groups. Her hobbies in-
clude singing and playing the guitar. Her husband is a service
advisor with AutoNation. They have two daughters, Ashley
34, Katie 28 and six-year-old grandson Jason.
AquaBlu Hair Studio was relocated from CO to Glendale AZ on October 23, 2017. Seventeen
years of her career, Leslie worked for Aveda salons around the country. She is an internation-
ally trained master stylist, studying in London, Berlin and Toronto along with many cities all over
the US. Leslie worked at fashion week in NYC. During her career she has had many blessings
and opportunities. While living on the East Coast Leslie cut and style a former first lady’s hair,
movie stars, along with many prominent business people.
Leslie specializes in haircolor, perms, and haircuts. You name it she can cut it! She continues
to study, attending hands on and online classes. Leslie works with the hair to balance the
weight and cut based on your head and face shape, leaving you with a current style that will
flatter you. She refers to herself as a hair archaeologist, unearthing body, curl and movement
you may not have even know you had!
