Michele Celentano
Michele is a native New Yorker who moved to
Phoenix in 2002. When she is not creating portraits for
her clients she enjoys reading, cooking, running, yoga,
red wine, traveling, spending time with friends and family.
Her husband Paul is a Captain at the Sun City Fire Depart-
ment. Between them they have 3 daughters, Anna 16,
Ashley 21 and Alli 24.
She has been a professional photographer for
nearly 30 years and has been a prominent educator in
the field for more than 18 years. From Italy, Korea, Puerto
Rico to Hawaii and from small intimate workshops to large
conventions, Michele has taught photography to
budding photographers all over the world.
Photographs are the tangible things Michele values the most in her life. Photographs
of her grandparents, daughter at different stages of her life, holidays, vacations, her wedding,
Her husband, friends and family. Michele’s home is filled with photographs and portraits of her
life. Photographs are the history of our lives. Photographs transport us back in time and can
reconnect us with those who have left the earth.
It is a privilege to be able to create memorable portraits for
every single client. I love knowing that the portraits I create will out
last me and my client. Knowing that someday great-grandchildren
will be told stories about the people I have photographed moves
me in a way I can’t really explain. We all need to exist in photo-
