Based in Somerset, Ling Shooting( formerly Abbey Burton Clay Shooting) are a family run shooting school which specialises in clay shooting lessons. Ling offer the best shooting tuition and entertainment for groups and individuals.
The Shooting school is owned and run by the Ling family and run by Abbey, Steve, Theo and Edward Ling, who himself is a professional shooter. He was trained by his father Steve Ling at the Ling Shooting School and after achieving a career highlight shooting 120 from 125 clays to enter a bronze medal shootout with the previous Beijing Olympic champion, Edward went on to win the match to become the 2016 bronze medalist in Rio in what was his third Olympic games at the age of 33.
Ling specialise in clay shooting lessons, game shooting tuition, ' Have a go ' packages, group bookings, hen and stag parties, team building activities and corporate entertainment in archery, air rifle and clay shooting laser clay.
There are also events which run throughout the year such as Ladies Days, Young Shots Days & charity events. There is also an on-site shop where customers can purchase new and second hand guns, country clothing, ammunition and accessories which are also viewable at the Ling Shooting website. There is also a gun repair and fitting service available.
