Growth Hans Möller looks forward to taking on the new challenge of park director In August 2017, Edinburgh BioQuarter appointed Hans Möller, the former Chief Executive of Scandinavia’s largest science park, as its new Director. Hans took up his new post in October 2017 and joins Edinburgh BioQuarter from the North East Local Enterprise Partnership in Newcastle, where he has been Innovation Director since March 2015. Formerly the Chief Executive of Ideon Science Park in Sweden, Hans will lead a team which will generate inward investment and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation across the site. Hans Möller said: “This is a big challenge but one which I’m really looking forward to taking on. It aims to establish a “common language” the highly-skilled people, the hospital, the world-class research, and the life sciences companies – then we have great foundations to work from.” Edinburgh BioQuarter is a world- renowned public sector partnership between NHS Lothian, Scottish Enterprise, the University of Edinburgh, and the City of Edinburgh Council.
