Institute, a private-sector-led,
not-for-profit organisation with
the mission to make the UK the
best place in the world to not only
start a business, but to scale one.
Following the publication of the ScaleUp
Report in 2014, Sherry co-founded the
Institute with fellow entrepreneurs and
corporate, education and finance partners
who are as passionate as she is about making
the UK the best place in the world to scale
a business. Their ambition is to grow on
the entrepreneurial spirit of the
nation and its long history
in commerce.

Sherry is an entrepreneur, investor and advisor who
chairs the Financial Strategy Advisory Group for the
University of Cambridge, the ScaleUp Institute and
Founders4Schools. She was commissioned to write the
2014 ScaleUp Report by the government
