The top stars from the PDC headed to Barnsley on 23rd Quarter-Finals
November with one final opportunity to make a mark ahead of
the Players Championship Finals and the World Championship. Mark Dudbridge 6-3 Kevin Painter
With places still up for grabs and seedings still to be determined it was
Dave Chisnall who laid down a marker in the first event on Saturday
afternoon. The St Helens ace toppled Robert Thornton 6-3 in the final
to claim the £10,000 first prize and ensure he would head into the
Players Championship Finals as the number two seed.

Semi-Finals
Earlier in the day there wins for Chisnall over Martyn Turner, John
Bowles and Michael Smith along with a come from behind victory over
Peter Wright in the semi-finals that saw both men average well over
100.
R Thornton 6-3 Mark Dudbridge
Thornton’s route to the final included a semi-final victory over Mark
Dudbridge, who returned to form just in time to ensure not only his
qualification for the upcoming World Championships, but also his place
in the top 64 in the world and therefore his 2014 Tour Card.
