SDC Pro Tour Events 5 + 6 The Scandinavian Darts Corporation’s Pri Tour headed to Copenhagen in Denmark for the third double header of the season, with more than 50 players competing in two tournaments over 3rd and 4th August Finland’s Jani Haavisto claimed victory in the fifth event of the year after defeating his fellow countryman Veijo Viinikka 6-1 in the final. Haavisto also won matches against Dennis Lindskjold, Hannu Suominen and Jarko Komula on the day. On the Sunday Jarko Komula also of Finland claimed victory in the sixth event of the season after a 6-0 defeat of Per Laursen in the final. The Finn also had victories over Per Skau, Soren Hedegaard and Per Andersen as he claimed the tournament victory. DPA Top 3 Head To Luna Park Gordon Mathers and Clinton (Tic) Bridge will join Kyle Anderson as the top 3 Players in the DPA Order of Merit and join, Phil Taylor, James Wade, Adrian Lewis, Raymond van Barneveld, Michael van Gerwen, Andy Hamilton, Wes Newton, Simon Whitlock, DPA Invite Paul Nicholson and New Zealand Qualifier Warren Parry at the 2013 Sydney Darts Masters. The final 3 spots will be taken from the Sydney Darts Masters qualifiers held at the Warilla Bowls and Recreational Club, Warilla, NSW The Sydney Darts Masters Qualifiers Day 1 will be on 25th August 2013 with Day 2 and 3 being the 26th and the 27th August 2013 and the Oceanic Masters will be on the 28th August 2013. Chad Stack Wins Firma Industries Open Chad Stack defeated Beau Anderson to take out the Firma Industries Open on Saturday August 3rd at the Wanneroo Showgrounds, WA. Beau, brother of DPA’s No 1 Kyle Anderson went through to the main event from Board 1 along side Dave Platt, Loz Ryder and Koha Kokini, defeating Koha in the last 16. He then progressed to the final with wins over Ijah Coyle and Dave Platt. Chad, through to the main event from Board 2, defeated Darren Kirk, Wayne Clegg and then DPA No2 Gordon Mathers, before defeating Beau Anderson in the final 6-5. World News...World News...
