World News...World News... PDC North American Championship Tour Event 2 Larry Butler edged out John Part 6-5 to win the second PDC North American Championship Tour event, held in Kingston, Ontario on Sunday. The 1994 World Matchplay champion was in great form throughout the day to take the $2,200 first prize in the second of eight PDC NACT events being held this year. Butler won the final’s first three legs before Part hit back in the fourth, after the American missed doubles. The tables were turned in leg five as Butler moved 4-1 up, only for three-time World Champion Part to take the next three in levelling the contest. Butler posted a maximum as he took the ninth to regain the lead, only for Part to level and force a deciding leg in which the American opened with 140, 140 and 180 before finishing 41 for a 12-darter to claim the title. Part took $1,400 as runner-up, with Bruce Davey and Dave Switzer reaching the semi-finals and Ryan Barnette, Bernie Miller, Martin Tremblay and Paul Carlsen being in the last eight.
