Editors Intro... July for me proved to be one of the best month’s I have had in darts, I was fortunate enough to spend the week in Blackpool covering the entire World Matchplay from the Winter Gardens. I would like to extend my thanks to Dave Allen and all at the PDC for the warm welcome I received and for their hospitality and help through the week. The tournament turned out to be one of the best in the PDC’s history and we have some great features and reports centred around the World Matchplay including a full round up of all of the action and a look at the resurgence of Adrian Lewis by regular contributor Jamie Shaw who is also editor at live-darts.co.uk I myself take a look at what makes Phil Taylor so hard to beat and why he has been at the top of the sport for so long and we also pay tribute to John Gwynne after the Sky Sports commentator retired following the World Matchplay. On top of all of this we also have our usual look at the news from around the BDO and the PDC and for the first time this month we look at news from around the World, including Scandinavia, North America and Australia.
