How did you get into modelling? I always wanted to work as a model and it started with beauty pageants. I won Miss Belfast and came 1st Runner-Up in Miss Student as well as entering international pageants. Modelling work is perfect for me as it allows flexibility for me to go home to Ireland when I want to visit my family. I also get to work all over the UK and abroad, this summer I went to Mauritius on a job which was amazing. I love getting jobs in Ireland however as I get to see my family, so fingers crossed I get to work at the darts there next year at the Premier League How did you get the job as a walkon girl? I was very lucky to join Angels Elite and Karen who owns the agency put me forward for the job. I really didn’t know much about darts before so it was all new to me. Karen herself is a former walk-on girl so she filled me in on the job and the fun that comes with it! I was over the moon when I found out I got picked to be a walk-on girl. My first job was at the Cash Converters Players Championships at Minehead. What a job, there was a crowd of 5000 people, it was such an exciting atmosphere and I got the darts bug! By the end of the weekend I knew every rule of the game, and couldn’t wait to have a go playing myself, although I think it will be a long time before I get a 180! What was it like working at the darts for the first time? I was excited when Karen told me I had the job, but like I said I really didn’t know what to expect, it was better than I could have imagined. The crowd were so friendly and supportive, and I got some lovely tweets from darts fans. I felt they really supported me on my first job as a walk-on girl and it made me feel accepted into the the darts family! I had never properly watched the game before, I think it’s such a great sport, every age and gender can enjoy it and I can only see it getting bigger and bigger so I’m really proud to be a part of it all. Before my first walk on I was so nervous, what if I tripped up? What if I went to the wrong side of the stage? Or worse what if I got booed? I need not have worried, the crowd were cheering, the atmosphere was amazing and I enjoyed every second. After I was buzzing as I got some lovely tweets from fans and new followers I felt like I had done everyone proud and
