7 Deadly Non-Seeds The 2014 BetVictor World Matchplay looks set to be the most competitive ever, with even the sixteen non-seeded players set to make an impact on the tournament. With so many lower ranked players in with a chance of reaching the latter stages of the tournament we asked Mike Glover to take a closer look at seven of those who could prove to be deadly at the Winter Gardens. Stephen Bunting BDO World Champion Bunting has qualified for the Matchplay at his first attempt, and with three major titles behind him on the other side of the divide he is sure to be a threat as he makes his debut. He faces a tough test in the form of Peter Wright in the opening round. The pair have met once before in the 2013 UK Open when Wright ran out a convincing winner, but Bunting has bagged a World Championships since then and he will be looking to turn the tables on the Scotsman this time around. There can be no doubt that the St Helen’s based thrower, who has 18 ranking tournament titles across both codes to add to his three BDO majors, is a proven winner and there is no reason at all that H
