Then at the second UK Open Qualifier Gilding reached the final to face Stephen Bunting after getting Revenge on Barneveld, whitewashing James Wade and beating Phil Taylor. Unfortunately Gilding lost to Bunting 6-5 in an exciting final. Can Gilding continue on his rise and reach the dizzy heights of the Premier League?
