Anderson was able to land the winning double at the seventh attempt
after Lewis had failed to check out on 91 to take the game into a
deciding leg.
“It was a memorable night and I love playing in Scotland,” said
Anderson. “I got a great start but then I looked at the score and saw it
was 6-0, and all of a sudden I went to pieces!

“Maybe I was too eager to try finish Adrian off, but anyone would with
a crowd like that behind them! I knew that if I had one good leg I could
take the game and it worked out like that.”
