“I’m enjoying the season and I can look ahead now to trying to get
back into the Play-Offs. The hard work I’ve done in practice is paying
off and my doubles are going in well, and it was great to give the fans
plenty to cheer.”
“Dublin’s always been one of the best venues for me and the fans gave
me a great reception.”
Adrian Lewis 6-6 Dave Chisnall
This explosive pair landed ten maximums between them as they played
out a thrilling draw in which neither man ever enjoyed more than a one
leg lead.
Chisnall broke in the opening leg, only for Lewis to level and then
lead at 2-1. In a to-and-fro encounter Chisnall then levelled up, before
another break of throw saw him lead 3-2.
The match went on in this pattern until Lewis was able to land a 100
checkout to secure at least a point in the eleventh leg. Chisnall was not
finished however and he did his survival hopes a huge favour when he
landed a maximum in the final leg to secure a point of his own.

Adrian Lewis
“I’m happy with that and it was good entertainment for the crowd,” said
Chisnall. “Adrian had a few chances but it’s swings and roundabouts,
and at the end he let me in and I took my chance.
“I wanted to try and get at least a point this week and it means there’s
a big game ahead against Wes next week. I know that a draw will keep
me in the competition, but I’ll be going for a win and hopefully I can
hit my doubles like I did tonight.”
Lewis said: “Dave ground out a draw at the end there but we both hit
some good finishes and plenty of 180s, and it’s a good point for me.

Wes Newton 6-6 Simon Whitlock
This result favoured neither man really,
especially Whitlock who now finds himself
relegated, whilst Newton is in the bottom
two on legs difference and must secure
at least a point against Dave Chisnall in
his final match in week 9 to stand any
chance of staying up.
The opening two legs were both taken
