Premier League: Week 6
The same can be said of Adrian Lewis and Michael van Gerwen, who
both played well in victory. Lewis continued his good form from the UK
Open and fought hard to get two valuable points, whilst van Gerwen’s
win, although less closely fought, was equally as important as the top
four begin to think of the playoff push.
Thornton, Anderson and Barneveld remain in mid-table and I would say
at best one of them can make the playoffs. At the moment Barneveld
is in pole position, although Anderson played well in defeat and he is
shaping up to have a season that is poles apart from 2013.
