Premier League Preview
Raymond van Barneveld
One of Sky Sports’ picks, Barneveld
has failed to kick on since winning
the 2012 Grand Slam, but five World
Championships don’t lie and he remains
one of the sports all time greats.
Watch out for the experienced Barney
picking up good results along the way
and don’t be too surprised if you see
him at the O2 in May for the playoffs.
Gary Anderson
Anderson fell victim to an in form
Michael van Gerwen during the World
Championships, but he has returned to
form somewhat over recent months.
He is the lowest ranked of all of the
players contending the this years
tournament at 18th in the World, but
on his day, and if his doubles go in, he
is a match for anyone.
Having finished bottom of the pile in
the two seasons since winning the
event in 2011, this former winner may
pick up some good results, but probably doesn’t represent good
value at 22/1
