Photo: Tip Top Pics Ltd/Chris Sargent The time is nearly upon us when a select, albeit small, group of ladies can make a living out of playing darts, a vision which only a few years ago seemed to be light years away. All in all ladies darts is in great shape, and whilst the BDO may be hindering their mens tour, with restrictive contracts to block player movement and a lack of commercial opportunities, they are certainly getting things right on the ladies side of things and with luck there is more to come. The BDO must now take their role as a governing body seriously as they look to develop the ladies game over coming years, but if they do they are certainly on the right track.
