A Unique Tournament
The World Trophy will also be
unique amongst the BDO majors
in allowing any dart player, who
is not affiliated to the PDC, to
enter, with the first two days of
the tournament being taken up by
qualifying events with four men
and four ladies coming through to
take their places in the TV stages.
Along with the qualifiers there will
be top players from around the
world. The regional qualifiers have
already taken place and players
like the USA’s Jim Widmayer are
making preparations to descend
on Blackpool.
