Immersive installations .
Creative Technology ( CT ) has a global footprint of 40 offices in 18 countries . With over 1,500 employees , CT deliver projects in 87 countries across 6 continents . For Expo , Creative Technology Middle East ( CTME ) was invited to provide technical solutions for multiple pavilions as well as for events held during Expo .
CT provided the immersive installation for the Al Wasl Plaza , a 25,380 sqm dome constructed using a translucent material making the projection visible inside and out . 252 projectors in 42 environmentally controlled pods protecting against heat and dust , each pod with two video channels , each channel being a triple-stack of projectors , giving a total of 84 channels driven by 16 disguise gx2 servers .
Audio comprised of 27 L-Acoustics loudspeaker arrays , each consisting of 16 KIVA II . Six Sub-pods were spaced around the dome , each having 4 KS28 Subs installed with an L-ISA processor handled the immersive spatial processing . Playback was via dual redundant Merging Ovation system generating timecode to synchronise other technical elements . Signal distribution was via a redundant fibre ring from the DiGiCo system .
The DP World Pavilion relayed the business growth and technologies used today and into the future . CT delivered the installation across five floors , including meeting rooms , an event space , exhibit galleries , and office spaces . Control was provided by dual redundant Q-Sys 510 cores , with video deployed to 500 sqm of P2.9 pitch LED and flat panel displays , with the largest screen being 18m x 10m Unilumin 2.6mm .
Audio was provided via QSC speakers in the gallery spaces and an L-Acoustic Syva system in the Atrium ; with the atrium lit by 56 Varilite fixtures .
