WeTrack ’ s planning , sustainability , readiness and operations software enables the world ’ s biggest and best events , venues and organisations to work more collaboratively , efficiently and securely .
The company was birthed by London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games project and venue managers who wanted to improve the way event operators plan and deliver major events . Expo 2020 Dubai was an early , long-standing client and WeTrack now work with organisations including FIFA , International Olympic Committee and Commonwealth Games .
WeTrack delivered their project and risk management software to Expo 2020 Dubai from 2016 , continuing to develop these two core modules in partnership with the organising committee in Dubai . This two-part planning software provides large organisations like Expo with better collaboration , clearer oversight and more effective reporting . More than 600 users tracked milestone progress across venues , projects and functional areas as they planned over many years to deliver the Expo .
When the event was delayed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic , the organisation could quickly shift the planning and delivery timeline in bulk to reflect the change .
The incident management , control room and venue checks software were then used by 30 users at the United Arab Emirates Pavilion as they entered operations mode during the event itself . This integrated suite of modules gives organisations confidence that they are operating effectively and safely before , during and after their events .
Clayton D ’ Costa , Director of Excellence at the UAE Pavilion , commented that WeTrack ’ s incident management software ensured “ seamless coordination by the Command & Control Structure ”, providing “ a powerful vehicle to ensure that steady state operations remained seamless ”. These modules ensured security and accountability across the UAE ’ s packed calendar of events for the six months that the Expo was open to visitors .
