The CCE Learning Programme’ s content is fully mapped to the Tutor and Assessor Professional Standards and partially mapped to the Coach Developer Professional Standard. Engaging with the learning programme will provide a route towards the Professional Standard. The CCE Learning Programme can be delivered as single workshops or a full learning programme.
Who is it for?
The CCE Learning Programme is for both current and aspiring tutors and assessors across the sport and physical activity sector.
The CCE Learning Programme comprises six core themes spread over six, three-hour workshops.
Format
Each of the below themes are delivered in a three-hour online classroom( this can also be delivered face-to-face by Licensed Workshop Partners):
• Understanding coach learning, development, and assessment
• Effective and ethical practice
• Building caring relationships
• Supporting and sustaining coach learning, development, and assessment
• Planning and initiating coach learning, development, and assessment
• Evaluating and reviewing coach learning, development, and assessment.

Unit 1 – Exploring Coach Learning, Development and Assessment
Unit aim – On completion of this unit, learners will have the ability to critically apply learning theories, design learner-centred strategies, and create effective, autonomy-supportive assessment plans that enhance learning and coaching practice.

LO 1 Evaluate learning theories which inform learning, assessing and coaching practices.
LO 2 Design learner-centred learning strategies. LO 3 Analyse principles of effective learning and assessment design.
