UK Coaching Annual Review 2018-2019 UK Coaching Annual Review 2018-2019 | Page 7
As the lead agency for
coaching in the UK, we’ve
enjoyed another strong year,
successfully campaigning
about what it means to be a
great coach.
This review is, as always, a
mere snapshot of the work
that we do with coaches, our
partners and the wider sport
and physical activity sector
to develop Great Coaching.
From raising the profile of
Great Coaching through our
renowned events programme,
to helping our partners create
workforces that are reflective
of society, and launching our
L&D platform, UKCoaching.org
that provides coaches – new
and established – access to
great learning, resources,
events and opportunities.
“

remains that Great Coaching
changes lives because it’s
about people supporting
people to be better tomorrow
than they are today. We
want to make our world a
healthier and happier place by
positioning coaching as part
of the solution to society’s
problems.
To do this, coaches need
access to the widest choice
of accessible high-quality
products and services. For
that reason, we are focusing
on the following areas as we
move forward:
1. Build the world’s leading
coaching community
2. Become the leading
