PANEL BLIND TEST AVERAGE SCORE: 7.62 Massimo Marinelli, London Based Cigar Aficionado Dean Pullen, Owner of the UK Cigar Forum Average Score: 7.29 Strength: “Moderate” Flavour: “Acceptable” Aroma: “Good” Personal View: “Every now and then.” Comments: “The cigar was a bit dry but it still smoked okay. Strong tobacco flavour with some toasted nuts after taste. Acc eptable smoke but not my first choice.” Average Score: 7.86 Strength: “Light” Flavour: “Acceptabe ” Aroma: “Average” Personal View: “Every now and then” Comments: “The cap was a distinctly different colour to the main wrapper, which was very odd. It was a very creamy start and a good opening taste; not like some cigars that take half an inch to develop any flavour. However into the second third and it hadn’t developed any further - just a creamy, but nice, simple taste. The final third was the same, no development in body, which led to an overall disappointing cigar.” Will Hargrove, Corney & Barrow Average Score: 7.71 Strength: “Moderate” Flavour: “Very good” Aroma: “Good” Personal View: “Good cigar” Comments: “I think this was probably a not particularly good stick from a nice cigar if that makes sense, size and flavour were good but it was let down by construction.” 18
