La Reguladora Created by Esprite Group
La Reguladora was the bar opposite the H Upmann
factory in Havana into which D G Freeman and
Alonso Mendez disappeared in 1937 to discuss the
sale of the factory. Ten days later they resurfaced
in New York to announce that Mendez, Garcia y
Cia had bought the factory from J Frankau & Co for
$250,000/
Ingredients;
25mlHavana club especial rum
25ml Havana club 3 yr old
25ml lemongrass and ginger
50ml pineapple juice
Garnished with half an orange slice
Served over cubed ice.
Snow Hill Created by Alessandro Palazzi and the team at Dukes Bar,
St James’s
No 10 Snow Hill in the city of London was the first
home of Hunters & Frankau after John Hunter,
Morris & Elkan Ltd and J Frankau & Co Ltd were
united in 1965 and it remained so for nearly a
quarter of a century.
Ingredients;
10 Mint Leaves
30ml Fresh Lemon Juice
15ml Strega Liqueur 50ml Botanist Gin
30ml Soda Water
3 Drops of Bob’s Peppermint Bitter (nb NOT
MINT)
Garnish;
Spring of Mint
Slice of unwaxed lemons
(Use lemon twist to recycle the lemons)
Place the mint leaf into the highball with the
lemon juice, soda water and Strega Liqueur. Give
a small muddle to the ingredients, add ice and
pour the gin into the mixture and stir. Adjust with
a dash of soda water and garnish with springs of
mint and a slice of lemon.

28 years since it moved from the City.

45ml Dalmore 15y
15ml King’s ginger
20ml CarpanoAntica Formula
5 Drops Orange bitter
Garnish: Orange Peel double cut, placed on the rim
with barley stem
