Ryona Kurasawa My name is Ryona Kurasawa and I am from 10s. I chose the topic “Tutankhamun” for my Personal Project, because I am interested in the Egyptian history. I originally wanted to research many historical relics, such as Pyramids and Sphinx but I decided to focus on one topic and research it in depth. Before I started my research, I thought it would be very boring to look for information. But actually, it was pretty fun. Through this project, I have learnt that planning is very important because I didn’t plan well for making my product. I have encountered some difficulties during the process of making my product. I am sure I will use the knowledge that I have gained from the Personal Project in DP next year. Michelle Zhu My name is Michelle Zhu. I am 16 years old. My personal project is a photo book. The photo book presents some buildings in different countries. The reason I chose a photo book for my personal project was show the most special buildings in the countries and show the differences to makes people interested in different cultures. Shu Xin (Jenny) Zheng I am Jenny. I am a Chinese student from year 10. In the personal project, I was choosing time management for my topic. In this personal project, I want to tell the importance about time management to people around us. Also, I showed this in the form of Power Point. I added not only video and picture as much as possible, but also three surveys to ask people’s opinion about time. During making this product, I had learned that time management was a necessary way to help us increase the working efficiency. I hope my final product will be show in a very simple and understandable way. Li-Jiun (Yasmine) Luders Hey! My name is Yasmine and I am 17 years old and I come from Taiwan. I am interested in dancing and TV shows but these two things don’t have anything to do with my project…sadly. My personal project is about the death penalty. Why have I chosen this topic? Well first of all I always thought that it is a very interesting and voluminous topic even though it is really cruel. People have different opinions about the death penalty and it is really interesting to see how people think about it. So if YOU are interested to find about the death penalty, you should totally come to the exhibition!
