Through stewardship of the University’s natural and physical resources,
UGA is creating an optimal student environment that functions as a living
laboratory for sustainability. The University of Georgia implements policies and
programs that reduce energy and water usage, promote recycling, reduce waste,
construct high performance buildings and green spaces, provide alternative
transportation options, promote local foods, improve the local ecosystem,
and create a healthy environment for all campus constituents.
