UGA provides a broad range of educational, service, and social opportunities to inspire and support students in
efforts to reduce their own environmental “footprints” and improve the campus, community, and world around
them. Student engagement will always be a critical component of the University’s sustainability initiative.
In FY14, 31 sustainability-focused student organizations and 39 sustainability-related campus events
provided opportunities for students to learn, connect and engage.
