UGA has reduced its energy use by 15% per square foot since 2007. UGA has reduced its water use by 25% per square foot since 2007. UGA sent 295 fewer tons of waste to the landfill in FY2014 than in 2010 (a 6% reduction). 20% of all food purchased in a UGA Dining Hall is grown in Georgia or a neighboring state.
