Welcome to our prospectus . I am delighted to be part of this vibrant and exciting university which provides such a supportive learning environment to its students . In my time here I have been impressed by the genuine sense of community spirit . Our courses are designed to ensure that our graduates are highly employable with skills that are sought after in the public , private and commercial sectors . Starting in 2019 , we are delighted to offer a new degree which will produce the next generation of primary teachers in Scotland . The BA ( Hons ) Education Studies ( Primary ) is designed to attract candidates with a strong social conscience , who are passionate about developing young people and equality of opportunity . It will also particularly suit those who have aspirations to lead in the teaching profession .
