Students are advised to explore what funding options (ie loans, grants, subsidies, sponsorships, scholarships and other awards or benefits) are available from sources within their home country. Students who have secured formal sponsorship from an employer or other organisation should contact JCU to see whether the company can be recognised as an official JCU sponsor. Official JCU sponsors accept financial liability for tuition fees payable for the duration of the academic program, and JCU will deal directly with the sponsor in relation to all tuition fee matters. Financial Aid – Loans and Grants Students from the following countries may be eligible to apply for loans, and in some cases grants or other nonrepayable types of funding, from their government or a financial institution. Generally student loans must be repaid once study has ceased.
