• Hospitality is to welcome and care for people beyond one’ s circle of intimate friends and to tangibly demonstrate to the stranger the unlimited and inclusive companionship of Jesus Christ.
• Unlimited means without limit or bounds. Put the two definitions together and you get an awesome Core Value for UCUMC!

My Hope with Billy Graham has begun! This is a special project between the Billy Graham Association and local churches, such as ours, to reach people with the Hope and Love of Christ. For more information, see www. myhopewithbillygraham. org.
UCUMC is among hundreds of participating churches across our nation. We will share with everyone how to reach out to our surrounding community to share the Hope and Love of Christ. For more information about UCUMC’ s part in the initiative go to www. ucumc. org / outreach. We especially need every member and attendee to pray about being a“ Matthew”( Matthew 9:9-10).“ Matthews” with the My Hope initiative are those who are committed to this effort and plan to do their part in reaching others for Christ. Matthews will be trained and learn the basics of intentionally building relationships with those around us and telling your faith story. Our first Matthew training will be May 15th from 6-8pm. Here’ s what we’ ve got in store for UCUMC from May- November:
• Kickoff on May 5 with our District Superintendent preaching; First opportunity to sign up to be a Matthew. Sign ups to be a Matthew will continue throughout the summer.
• Matthew Training on May 15th from 6-8pm Click Here to sign up( there will be another opportunity in August).
• Worship sermons to teach us all how to reach out to others
• LIFE Groups in the summer that will tackle subjects such as – Being a Contagious Christian, Praying for Others, Sharing My Faith Story, & more!
• Youth and children will be encouraged to bring friends to church and share their faith.
• All efforts covered in prayer by the congregation & a special prayer team.
• Prayer Gatherings in October
• Matthew Gatherings in early November
