Joseph Leventhal , Marshall , joined Glaser Weil as head of litigation for its San Diego office .
Ian Rivamonte , Muir , has been appointed to serve as a judge in the Monterey County Superior Court by California Governor Gavin Newsom .
2002

2003
Patrick Fischer , Muir , coauthored The Compound Code : An Expert Guide to Trading Stocks & Options , a guidebook that outlines the tools and science behind successful investment strategies .
2004
Evan McLaughlin , Warren , was appointed political director for the California Professional Firefighters .
Nina St . Pierre , Warren , a queer essayist and culture writer , has authored a memoir , Love Is A Burning Thing , about a posthumous investigation into two fires that her mother started — decades apart — and then a realization that new age spirituality had likely masked her mental illness . The book was released in May 2024 and published by Dutton Books .
Matt Ustaszewski , Muir , was named assistant coach for the men ’ s water polo team representing the USA at the upcoming Olympics in Paris . In July 2022 , he was named head coach for UC San Diego ’ s Triton men ’ s water polo team following the retirement of Denny Harper , who retired after 42 years of leading the team .

Juvenal Caporale , Marshall , MA ’ 12 , was named a faculty fellow of the American Association of Hispanics in Higher Education .
