WE ARE UC SAN DIEGO Tritons unite to celebrate a shared history .
We are UC San Diego ’ s finest . We are its crowning achievement . We are the graduates of UC San Diego . We have a shared history and a common bond . What does that history mean to you ? UC San Diego Magazine took a deep dive into the university ’ s Special Collections and Archives and found some “ buried ” treasures , the earliest of which date back to the university ’ s founding in the 1960s . Did you have a UCLJ shirt ? ( Short for UC La Jolla .) What about the Trident yearbook from 1968 or the Freshman Orientation Handbook from Revelle College circa the early 1970s , complete with a nod to Camp Snoopy ?
