This was a good photo from a technical point of view with the soft background focus and the details of the dog even down to the whiskers showing clearly. Once again a photo that shows off good staging and planning. The flowers are beautiful but don’t take the focus away from the dog. Some people might have added tilt shift but I don’t think it was needed in this photo. Jack and pup (submitted by Teresa Silva, Hesperia, MI, USA) Get your violin out; this photo is very heartwarming with the black and tan pup and the boy looking into each other’s eyes.
