(Continued from page 13) ENG Ch. Keyingham Branwell. There was nothing more glorious than watching Branwell showing in the ring at the UK Club Show and Crufts. He is a beautifully made dog that carries breed type and excels in showmanship. It is amazing to see how he developed as I saw him at around 8 weeks in the whelping box. We were friendly with the Parks and visited there on occasion to share a piece of Mary’s scrumptious lemon cakes and tea and treasured all of Colin’s words of wisdom about the breed. What a credit to their breeding program and to his owner and handler, Gill Baker. We would have liked to have bred to ENG Ch. Sanickro Intuition and/or Eng Sanickro Made by Magic. Sadly, Jezz’s breeder, Gill Tomlinson, passed way unexpectedly while we were in discussions about this and the English Kennel Club at the time did not allow for AI’s shipped in that fashion. We do have Ch. Sanickro Inspiration aka Morgan, a bitch from Jezz’s first litter, and she is sprite and lively at 13 years of age. Jezz and many of his offspring have tested A on MR for SM. ENG Ch. Sanickro Intuition at top and daughter Ch. Sanickro Inspiration below Without a doubt one of the best moments in the breed for us was when our Ch. Judyland Mr. Chips was an awarded a Best in Show at the All Breed Show at The Donner Trail Kennel Club under Judge Mildred Bryant in Roseville, CA. Chips had 20 Group Ones with limited showing mostly in Northern California. The Toy Group in California is one of the most competitive in the country and breaking the barrier for a Best in Show for a Cavalier is no easy feat in this country.
