My dear colleagues,
On behalf of the members of the National Board of Directors, allow me to
extend my cordial greetings and most sincere congratulations to all officers
and members of the board of the United Architects of the Philippines –
Regional District A5 on the occasion of your Chapter Induction and Turnover
Ceremonies.
Today, in fitting rites and rituals, you are called to pursue the objectives
and mission of our organization through your Chapter. I am certain you can
surmount them with your commitment and dynamism. As we aim for greater
heights, I enjoin the incoming officers of Regional District A5 to carry on
with the pursuit of our mission and to work hard for the greater good of the
profession and your respective Chapter.
I fervently pray that the drive to dream great things and the fire for
rendering service will continue to burn in your hearts. May you always be
guided by the ideals of true professionalism honor and dignity, as you help
foster the spirit of cooperation and collaboration within our community. May
you inspire further as you attain our organization’s objectives and translate
this year’s corporate thrusts to tangible realities. It is my wish that your
inspired hope for reform and renewal be sustained as we collectively work
towards an equitably progressive UAP.
I enjoin you to support the present national leadership in its continuing
quest for the promotion and protection of our profession in this time of
globalization, when we are faced with many challenges. Let us make the most
out of the opportunities that abound and move ahead through our corporate
theme: EMPOWER + EQUIP + ENJOIN: Together on Higher Ground. With
our concerted effort we shall be able to address the pressing concerns of
our profession, so that we can fully realize our dreams and aspirations as
the true prime professional in the built environment. Lastly, may I enjoin you
to become agents of change in your own realm and spheres of influence so
that we may become the change that we want to see and thereby contribute
to public welfare and the common good.
