The Seventh Annual James Bond Gala, "Dr. Cure," was held at The Club honoring Jefferson County Commission President, Jimmie Stephens on January 27. Our collaboration with our cherished support group at ROAR is an important community bridge for us. Sometimes we can get too focused on specific interesting scientific questions and forget the greater picture. Our link with ROAR provides us the perspective of integration with the community that we serve, and we very much appreciate their desire to help us advance the science of oncology. Our gala honoree, Jimmie Stephens, and his wife, Mona, are terrific to work with. We wholeheartedly seek to bring the best cancer treatments to our Birmingham community! Dr. James A.
